Services & Clinics

Find GP clinics and Urgent Care Clinics near the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) for medical advice in a non-emergency situation.

Medicare Urgent Care Clinic

Urgent Care Clinics are open for patients needing care for urgent, non-life-threatening health conditions, and who cannot get an appointment at their usual GP.

They are staffed by doctors and nurses, providing timely care for the community in a general practice setting, including treatment of minor injuries including sprains and fractures, cuts, wounds and minor illnesses, infections and burns.

The clinics offer:

  • call ahead or walk-in service (no appointment or referral needed)
  • bulk billing (no out-of-pocket payments required)
  • care 7 days a week between 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

GP clinics

If your regular general practitioner (GP) is unavailable, consider seeing another GP or ask about Telehealth.

Many GPs are open after hours and on weekends and many offer bulk billing, which means services can be provided at no out-of-pocket-cost when you have a Medicare card.
